A few people have asked me how to store gas over the winter or long term. I am definitely not an expert on this. I did a little research and this is what I found.
Some good points: Gas Storage
Here is the product that most people use. STA-Bil
Why do people store gas? Lots of reasons. But one good reason is when the power is out and you plan on using your generator. Sometimes, even the gas stations are out to power. You will not be able to pump gas.

Welcome!
I will now be posting all Emergency Prep. info onto this blog. This allows me to archive all the information that I have already provided. You will be able to access such features as Provident Living, Cannery order forms, and A Year Supply One Month at a Time. This will be the November/December Newsletter. To access the Nov/Dec A Year Supply One Month at a Time, (This normally came in an email attachment) go to the right of the screen and click on the file. It will take you to my SkyDrive and if you click on that it will take you to everything I have sent you this last year. If you want you can just print the pages you need. I hope this makes things simpler. I am very much an amateur when it comes to blogging. So, please be patient.
Thanks to all those that participated in the Relief Society Night on Tuesday. We had an awesome turnout! As soon as Ashley K. emails me the food storage info. I will Link it to the blog. All those who purchased candle kits, and were not able to attend, I have them in my garage. Please come get them at your earliest convenience.
The Stake would like more people to attend CERT training. What is CERT? Community Emergency Response Team. Let me know if you are interested and I will get you the info you need.
In the next couple of days I hope to compile info and links to help you get "all things winterized". So stay tuned!
